Tommy Keenum is a Nashville based singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. In 2000, he left a successful career as a visual artist and designer to become a full time musician. Since then he has written and recorded five critically acclaimed albums in styles that range from retro-pop and jazz to folk and R&B. He is first and foremost a singer and is best known for his dramatic covers of classic pop songs.
“Coming from the visual arts world has had a great impact on my songwriting and music. I love for lyrics to tell a story the way a painting or movement does and when I’m singing I imagine a visual and then sing the soundtrack.”
